Children in the London Borough of Croydon are able to enter the Reception class the September after their 4th birthday.
Places in our Reception classes are allocated by the Local Education Authority.
The criteria for allocating places are:
- 'looked after' children
- special educational needs
- geographic location
Parents wishing to register their child for a particular school should arrange to visit the school in order to complete the appropriate form, and have their child's name added to the waiting list. It should be stressed, however, that the waiting list does not operate on a "first come, first served" basis.
