Parents’ Association - PAWS
PAWS (Parents' Association of Woodside School) is a charitable organisation with a committee of very dedicated parents who run the association. We meet, on average, once a month to discuss, and come up with new and different ways to raise money for the school.
The present officers are: Chairperson: Ms E. Mann Secretary: Ms C. Mola
AIMS OF PAWS
To raise funds for the provision of facilities and equipment, which support the school and advance the education of the pupils. We also aim to develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. As such this plays a key role in the local community and enhances the learning environment for our children.
WE RAISE FUNDS by arranging some fun events throughout the year, such as a Family Halloween Disco, Race Night, Cake & Uniform Sales and of course the main events – the Christmas and Summer Fayres with help from all of the committee and everyone attending these events we raise over £15,000 annually for the school!
